In Winogrand on Duty video, he said: “The way I would put it is that I get totally out of myself.”

He also said:
I hate the term. I think it’s a stupid term, “street photography”.

I try to frame in terms of what I want to include.
I don’t think about pictures — when I am photographing.
When I am photographing I see life. That’s all there is. . . .
[I am not a picture.] You’re not a picture.

I have posted two photographs below. They were taken separately, the first was in June 2005 and the last one was just a few days ago.

So what comparison I want to make here? Nothing.
I definitely am not thinking about pictures. I am just envying those camera, lens and bag…wished I had one. That’s life!
